Akumal

Retreat to this quiet turtle-nesting place; a vacationer's paradise. Tiptoe through turtle territory during an excursion of the Yalku lagoon in nearby Akumal, located one hour south of Cancun.

Chankanaab Park
Take a romantic stroll through a botanical garden at this beautiful archaeological, beachfront park, featuring a lovely lagoon and a snaking jungle trail. It is located near San Miguel.

Chichen Itza
Walk the grounds of ancient Mayan pyramids at this most visited tourist attraction. Intriguing temples like the mysterious Ball Court, amusing light and sound shows, and an awe-inspiring demonstration of the Equinox, the descent of a Kukulcan feathered serpent, will thrill you. The Chichen Itza archaeological zone is located in the Piste village, in the Yucatan peninsula.

 

Cozumel Mini Golf
Tranquil sounds of gushing water fountains and sweet singing birds will clear your mind as you aim for a hole in one at this miniature golf course tucked in a lush tropical garden of banana trees and Royal palms.


Crococun Zoo
Venture into the wild for a study of more than 300 slithering, primitive crocodiles and other animals that reside at this zoo located in neighboring Cancun.

 

Dolphin Discovery
Stroke a dolphin while swimming the beautiful waters of the Chanakaab Park during a guided dive tour hosted by Dolphin Discovery.



DosOjos
Submerge the Dojos (Spanish for two eyes) cenote for a spectacular snorkeling expedition through this underwater cavern. Meander through its clear turquoise water for a close encounter with the most intricate rock formations.


Playa Del Carmen

Plant your toes in the silky, white sand along the shoreline of Playa del Carmen's pristine beaches. Playa del Carmen, originally named Xaman Ha (waters of the north), is not just an ideal place to sunbathe, but it's a display of the Maya World and key sights along the Cancun -Tulum corridor of the Mayan Riviera (formerly known as Quintana Roo). San Gervasio Mayan Ruins
Peer into Mayan history and traditions by touring this site of old temples and shrines, where villagers gathered to worship the goddess Ix Chel who was the wife of Itzamma, the Mayan God.
